Elle Green moved in 2017 to Doylestown from Texas, where she served as a community college vice president, CEO of a PBS television station, award-winning documentary producer, host of a long-running public affairs TV program, city council member, and development officer for a private school. She also organized and served as president of a community garden and her neighborhood association.

Elle founded the Bucks County Book Festival in 2018 and serves as director. She is currently writing her first book and is an advancement director at Drew University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in communication from West Texas A&M University.
